Clove Hitch  (useful in belay set ups)

   

Munter Hitch (used in lieu of a rappel device/ATC)

   

Girth Hitch w/harness (used to attach personal anchor to harness)

   

Water Knot (used to tie two ends of a runner, i.e. chest harness for glacier travel)

   

Double Fisherman’s (used to tie two ends of a rope, i.e perlon & climbing rope)

   

Prussik Knot tie one handed (friction knot, engages when loaded both directions)

   

Bachmann Knot (friction knot, engages when loaded one directionj)

   

Klemheist Knot (friction knot, engages when loaded one direction)

   

Reversed and Opposed Carabiners (used in lieu of a locking carabiner)
